73132 - Wigan Springs Branch CRDC - 26-12-2001

Mainline Liveried Class 73 stands at Wigan CRDC.

Despite being nearly 40 years old Class 73s have never been a regular sight at Wigan and certainly never on the depot at Wigan.

Possibly breaking new ground for the Class 73132 stands on the scrapline at Wigan.

73132 is the former (E6039) and was withdrawn by EWS in November 1998 from Hither Green, after a stay at the CRDC 73132 was bought by Fragonset and eventually scrapped at Ron Hull Jr Rotherham in July 2006.
