37414 "Cathays C&W Works 1846-1993" - Wigan Springs Branch CRDC - 26-12-2001

Seen across the WCML Regional Railways 37414 the former "Cathays C&W Works 1846-1993" is seen partially stripped at Wigan CRDC.

Following storage at Wigan 37414 (D6987 37287) was offered for sale and purchased by BRE Ltd in August 2005. When the BRE enterprise collapsed 37414 was sold for scrap and Cut up at TJ Thomson's Stockton in March 2009.
