37162 (D6862) Was Withdrawn From Mainline Service By EWS in April 1999 and following a brief spell in store 37162 saw service in France as part of the WKMF pool. 37162 returned from France on 22nd September 2000 and move to Wigan CRDC for component recovery in October 2000.
Following a spell in store and undergoing component recovery 37162 was offered for sale and eventually moved from Wigan CRDC to Booths Rotherham during August 2005 before being cut up during December 2005.
